What is CVE-2024-13616?
The VikBooking Hotel Booking Engine & PMS plugin for WordPress before version 1.7.2 contains a vulnerability that fails to adequately sanitize and escape certain settings. This oversight can enable high-privilege users, such as administrators, to execute stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. Such attacks pose a significant risk, even in environments where the unfiltered_html capability is restricted, such as multisite configurations. Administrators are advised to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate this vulnerability.
