The Maps for WP plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with contributor-level permissions and higher to exploit the 'MapOnePoint' shortcode. This exploitation stems from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes, enabling attackers to inject malicious web scripts. When users access an injected page, the scripts can execute, potentially compromising the site’s integrity and the security of its visitors.
