What is CVE-2024-13650?

The Piotnet Addons For Elementor plugin for WordPress contains a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability through the 'PAFE Before After Image Comparison Slider' widget. All versions up to and including 2.4.34 are affected due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping mechanisms. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to insert arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts may execute in the context of users accessing the affected pages, posing significant security risks.
