What is CVE-2024-13743?
The Wonder Video Embed plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate sanitization of user-supplied input. The flaw exists in the plugin's wonderplugin_video shortcode, allowing authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary JavaScript into pages. This injected script executes whenever a user visits the compromised page, posing severe security risks for both site owners and visitors. Affected versions include all prior to and including 2.2.
