What is CVE-2024-1385?

The WP-Stateless – Google Cloud Storage plugin for WordPress features a vulnerability allowing for unauthorized data manipulation due to a lack of adequate capability checks in the dismiss_notices() function across all versions up to and including 3.4.0. This flaw permits authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access and above to modify arbitrary option values, which can lead to significant disruptions, including the potential to take an entire site offline.
