What is CVE-2024-13853?

The SEO Tools WordPress plugin, up to version 4.0.7, contains a vulnerability that fails to properly sanitize and escape user-supplied parameters before displaying them on the page. This oversight can lead to reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks, particularly affecting users with administrative privileges. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts that could compromise sensitive operations and data.
