What is CVE-2024-13866?

The Simple Notification plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. Authenticated attackers with administrator privileges can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute when users access the compromised pages.
