What is CVE-2024-1504?
The SecuPress Free plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability due to inadequate nonce validation in the secupress_blackhole_ban_ip() function. This flaw allows malicious actors to potentially block a user's IP without authentication. By tricking the user into clicking a malicious link, the attacker can forge requests that exploit this vulnerability and adversely affect the targeted user.
