What is CVE-2024-1537?
The Essential Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability through its Data Table widget across all versions up to 5.9.9. This flaw arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping for user-supplied attributes, enabling authenticated attackers with contributor-level privileges or higher to inject arbitrary scripts into pages. These scripts execute when users access the compromised pages, potentially compromising user data and site integrity.
