What is CVE-2024-1785?
The Contests by Rewards Fuel plugin for WordPress suffers from a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability due to improper nonce validation in the ajax_handler() function. This vulnerability allows attackers to exploit a flaw that lets unauthenticated users modify plugin settings or inject malicious JavaScript. An attacker can trick a site user with the edit_posts capability into executing an action, like clicking a compromised link, leading to unauthorized changes on the affected WordPress site.
