What is CVE-2024-1794?
The Forminator plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows for Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) through the upload of harmful files, such as 3gpp files. This issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and improper output escaping, enabling unauthenticated attackers to introduce arbitrary web scripts. These scripts execute whenever a user accesses the compromised page, potentially leading to unauthorized actions and data exposure.
