What is CVE-2024-2026?
The Passster plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the content_protector shortcode. This vulnerability affects all versions up to 4.2.6.4. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this weakness to inject malicious scripts into web pages. As a result, these scripts may execute in the browsers of users accessing the affected pages, posing a significant threat to site security.
