What is CVE-2024-2335?
The Elements Plus! plugin for WordPress is susceptible to stored cross-site scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to embed arbitrary scripts in widget link URLs. These scripts will execute whenever users access an affected page, potentially compromising sensitive data and user sessions.
