What is CVE-2024-2536?

The Rank Math SEO with AI SEO Tools plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows for Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to improper input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes in the HowTo block. This issue affects all versions up to and including 1.0.214. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which will execute when users access the compromised content.
