CVE-2024-29113
What is CVE-2024-29113?
A reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the Metagauss RegistrationMagic plugin, which allows an attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the context of the user's browser. This issue specifically arises due to improper neutralization of input during the web page generation process. When a user interacts with the affected versions, specifically from n/a through 5.2.5.9, malicious scripts can be injected into the web page. Consequently, this exploitation could lead to unauthorized actions being performed on behalf of users, exposing sensitive information or hijacking user sessions.
