What is CVE-2024-3197?

The Plus Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attack due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of custom attributes within the plugin's widgets. This vulnerability allows authenticated users with contributor-level access and higher to inject malicious scripts into web pages. Whenever these pages are accessed by any user, the injected scripts could be executed, leading to potential exploitation of user environments.
