What is CVE-2024-3341?

The Phlox theme plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the 'aux_gmaps' shortcode. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute whenever users access the affected pages, posing significant security risks to users and websites.
