What is CVE-2024-3517?
The Phlox theme plugin for WordPress is exposed to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability through its Accordion Widget due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping measures. Authenticated attackers with contributor access or higher can exploit this flaw to inject malicious web scripts. These scripts will be executed whenever users visit affected pages, potentially compromising user data and website integrity.
