What is CVE-2024-3554?
The All in One SEO Plugin for WordPress is exposed to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes in its shortcode features. This flaw permits authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to insert malicious scripts. These scripts can be executed in the context of the user's session whenever an affected page is accessed, potentially leading to unauthorized actions and data theft.
