WooCommerce Predictive Search Vulnerable to XSS Attacks

What is CVE-2024-38669?

A reflected XSS vulnerability exists in WooCommerce Predictive Search, a product from a3rev Software, which allows attackers to inject malicious scripts into web pages. This vulnerability can be exploited by crafting a malicious request that is processed without adequate input validation, leading to execution of arbitrary JavaScript code in users' browsers. This can compromise sensitive information and perform unauthorized actions on behalf of the user. Affected users are advised to update their plugin to a secure version to mitigate the risks associated with this vulnerability.
