Summary
The All-in-One Video Gallery plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with contributor-level access and above to upload arbitrary files to the server. This issue arises from inadequate file type validation in the aiovg_create_attachment_from_external_image_url function. As a result, an attacker could potentially exploit this flaw to upload malicious files, leading to possible remote code execution on the affected WordPress installation. This vulnerability affects all versions of the plugin up to and including version 3.6.4.
