What is CVE-2024-4261?

The Responsive Contact Form Builder & Lead Generation Plugin for WordPress is compromised by a flaw that permits arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to and including 1.9.1. This vulnerability arises from the plugin's failure to adequately validate input before executing the do_shortcode function. Consequently, authenticated attackers with at least subscriber-level access can leverage this weakness to execute malicious shortcodes, potentially leading to unauthorized activities on the affected sites.
