What is CVE-2024-43334?
The Gavias Halpes theme for WordPress is susceptible to a Cross-site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability, allowing attackers to inject malicious scripts into web pages viewed by users. This flaw, resulting from improper neutralization of input during web page generation, particularly affects versions prior to 1.2.5. By exploiting this vulnerability, an attacker could execute arbitrary scripts in the context of the user's session, potentially leading to data theft or other malicious activities.
