What is CVE-2024-4743?
The LifterLMS plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with Contributor-level access and higher to exploit the orderBy parameter in the lifterlms_favorites shortcode. This issue arises from insufficient escaping and inadequate preparation of the SQL query, permitting attackers to inject additional SQL commands. Consequently, this manipulation could lead to unauthorized access to sensitive information stored within the database.
