What is CVE-2024-6069?
The Registration Forms plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers, including those with Subscriber-level access, to install, activate, and deactivate arbitrary plugins on the affected server. This issue arises from inadequate capability checks implemented in the functions pieregister_install_addon, pieregister_activate_addon, and pieregister_deactivate_addon. Attackers exploiting this vulnerability can potentially execute unauthorized code, compromising the security and integrity of the server.
