The Content Blocks (Custom Post Widget) plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows for Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the 'content' parameter in its shortcode. This issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in all versions up to 3.3.5. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious web scripts. These scripts execute whenever users visit the affected pages, posing significant security risks to WordPress sites utilizing this plugin.
