What is CVE-2024-6809?

The Simple Video Directory plugin for WordPress before version 1.4.3 is prone to SQL injection due to insufficient sanitization and escaping of parameters. This vulnerability can be exploited via an AJAX action accessible to unauthorized users, allowing an attacker to manipulate the SQL queries executed by the plugin, potentially leading to unauthorized access to sensitive data or alteration of the database.
