What is CVE-2024-6857?

The WP MultiTasking plugin for WordPress versions up to 0.1.12 lacks proper CSRF protection when updating Header, Footer, and Body Script Settings. This oversight permits attackers to exploit this vulnerability by tricking authenticated administrators into executing unwanted actions on the website. Without appropriate safeguards in place, the plugin is susceptible to CSRF attacks, posing a risk to the integrity and security of web applications using it.
