Summary

The Forminator Forms plugin for WordPress prior to version 1.38.3 contains a vulnerability that fails to properly sanitize and escape certain settings. This oversight enables high privilege users, such as administrators, to execute Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks even when the unfiltered_html capability is disabled, a scenario often found in multisite installations. The failure to implement adequate input validation can expose sensitive data and compromise site integrity.

Affected Version(s)

Forminator Forms 0 < 1.38.3

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
