What is CVE-2024-7588?

The Gutenberg Blocks, Page Builder – ComboBlocks plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability through its Accordion block. This issue arises from inadequate sanitization of input and improper escaping of output for user-supplied attributes. As a result, authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious web scripts into pages, which will execute whenever another user accesses the compromised page, potentially leading to significant security risks.
