What is CVE-2024-7963?

The CMSMasters Content Composer plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that enables Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes across all versions up to 1.8.8. This weakness allows authenticated attackers, who possess contributor-level access or higher, to introduce arbitrary web scripts into pages. Consequently, these scripts may execute whenever another user accesses a page where the script has been injected, posing significant risks to the site's security and user data.
