What is CVE-2024-8031?

The Secure Downloads plugin for WordPress, prior to version 1.2.3, is susceptible to a vulnerability that fails to adequately restrict which files can be downloaded. This flaw can permit authenticated attackers with administrative privileges to access and download arbitrary files, which could potentially contain sensitive data, such as the wp-config.php configuration file.
