What is CVE-2024-8482?
The Royal Elementor Addons and Templates plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows for Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) through the 'url' parameter. This vulnerability is present in all versions up to and including 1.3.982, arising from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping practices. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can exploit this flaw to inject malicious web scripts into pages. These scripts are executed when users access the compromised pages, posing significant risks to both user data and website integrity.
