CVE-2024-8507
8.8HIGH
What is CVE-2024-8507?
The File Manager Pro plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Cross-Site Request Forgery vulnerability affecting all versions up to and including 8.3.9. This vulnerability originates from inadequate nonce validation for the 'mk_file_folder_manager' AJAX action, which allows attackers to execute unauthorized file uploads. By tricking a site administrator into initiating actions such as clicking a malicious link, an unauthenticated attacker can effectively bypass intended security measures and exploit this flaw.
