What is CVE-2024-8670?

The Photo Gallery by 10Web plugin for WordPress prior to version 1.8.29 has a flaw that fails to properly sanitize and escape certain settings. This vulnerability permits high privilege users, such as administrators, to execute Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks even if the unfiltered_html capability is restricted, which is particularly concerning in multisite configurations. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability to inject malicious scripts, potentially compromising site integrity and user data.
