What is CVE-2024-8700?

The Event Calendar plugin for WordPress prior to version 1.0.4 contains a flaw that fails to validate user authorization for delete operations. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated users to delete calendars they should not have access to, posing a significant risk to data integrity and security. Users of this plugin are advised to update to the latest version to mitigate the risk.
