Summary

The GetResponse Forms by Optin Cat plugin for WordPress is affected by a vulnerability that allows reflected cross-site scripting (XSS). The plugin does not properly escape URLs when utilizing the add_query_arg function, which can be exploited by unauthenticated attackers. By convincing users to perform actions such as clicking on a specially crafted link, attackers can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, allowing for potential data theft and session hijacking. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 2.5.6.
