What is CVE-2024-8759?

The Nested Pages plugin for WordPress, prior to version 3.2.9, lacks proper sanitization and escaping for specific settings. This security oversight enables users with high privileges, such as administrators, to exploit this vulnerability to conduct Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks, even in scenarios where the unfiltered_html capability is restricted, such as in multisite environments. As a result, attackers could potentially inject malicious scripts that could compromise site integrity and user data.
