What is CVE-2024-8854?
The Polls CP WordPress plugin prior to version 1.0.77 lacks proper sanitization and escaping for several poll settings. This oversight allows authenticated high-privilege users, such as administrators, to execute Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, particularly in multi-site setups where the unfiltered_html capability is restricted.
