What is CVE-2024-8860?

The Tourfic plugin for WordPress lacks critical capability checks, allowing authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access or higher to manipulate various functionalities. This includes unauthorized resending of order status emails, modifying visitor and order details, altering check-in/out information, editing order statuses, performing bulk updates on order statuses, as well as deleting old review fields. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 2.14.5, posing significant risks for WordPress sites utilizing this plugin.
