What is CVE-2024-9057?
The Curator.io plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) through the 'feed_id' attribute, affecting all versions up to and including 1.9. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, enabling authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts into web pages. When users access these compromised pages, the injected scripts execute, potentially compromising user data and site integrity. Website administrators are advised to evaluate their systems and update the plugin to mitigate this vulnerability.
