What is CVE-2024-9227?
The PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry prior to version 11.9.18 is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability. This occurs due to insufficient sanitization and escaping of certain settings when a podcast is added. As a result, even in environments where the unfiltered_html capability is restricted, admin users could exploit this flaw to inject malicious scripts. Such attacks can lead to unauthorized access and manipulation of web content, posing significant risks for site integrity.
