What is CVE-2024-9376?
The Kata Plus β Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. This vulnerability specifically arises when SVG files are uploaded, enabling authenticated attackers with Author-level access and above to insert arbitrary web scripts. These scripts will execute whenever a user accesses the affected SVG file, posing significant risks to user security and potentially leading to further exploitations or data compromise.
