What is CVE-2024-9382?

The Gantry 4 Framework plugin for WordPress is subject to a reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability via the 'override_id' parameter across all versions up to and including 4.1.21. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts. If a user is tricked into clicking a malicious link, the malicious script executes in their browser context, potentially compromising user data and the overall integrity of the website.
