What is CVE-2024-9458?

The Reservit Hotel WordPress plugin prior to version 3.0 contains a vulnerability that allows high privilege users, such as administrators, to execute Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks due to improper sanitization and escaping of certain settings. This flaw can be exploited even when the unfiltered_html capability is disabled, which poses a significant risk in environments like multisite setups where elevated permissions are essential for maintaining security integrity.
