What is CVE-2024-9502?
The Master Addons β Elementor Addons for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through its Tooltip module. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes, enabling authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious web scripts. These scripts execute whenever a user accesses the compromised page, potentially leading to data theft, session hijacking, or site defacement.
