What is CVE-2024-9542?

The Sky Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress has a significant vulnerability allowing authenticated users with Contributor-level access and higher to access sensitive data. This vulnerability, arising from the render function in the modules/content-switcher/widgets/content-switcher.php file, exposes private, pending, and draft Elementor template data. Affected versions include all versions up to and including 2.6.1, posing a threat to the confidentiality of user-generated content.
