Summary

The Category and Taxonomy Meta Fields plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability caused by inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. This flaw exists in versions up to and including 1.0.0 of the plugin. Authenticated attackers possessing administrator-level permissions can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. The malicious scripts will execute whenever a user accesses the compromised page, significantly affecting the security integrity of installations, particularly in multi-site setups or those where unfiltered_html has been disabled.
