What is CVE-2024-9601?

The Qubely – Advanced Gutenberg Blocks plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. Attackers with Contributor-level permissions can exploit the β€˜align’ and 'UniqueID' parameters in all versions up to and including 1.8.12. This flaw enables them to inject malicious web scripts into pages, which execute whenever a user visits the compromised page, potentially leading to unauthorized access and information leakage.
