What is CVE-2024-9673?
The Piotnet Addons For Elementor plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the plugin's Heading widget in all versions up to and including 2.4.31. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes. As a result, authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary scripts into pages, which will execute whenever a user visits the compromised page, posing a significant risk to the site's security and user integrity.
